Colossians 1:15-23
Lent is a season in the church calendar that anticipates the coming of Good Friday and Easter. Lent is a time of reflection and devotion, but it is also a celebration of new life and a season of preparing new converts for baptism on Easter Sunday. The year 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation – the Protestant break from the Catholic Church. This movement solidified itself around five fundamental aspects called the five “solas.” This week we look at the fourth in the list – Solus Christus (In Christ Alone)
